Apostle John S. Young Jr. a native Floridaian has committed his life to
preaching, teaching, serving and helping every person, regardless of ethnicticity and economic status, to achieve their fullest potential. He was born to and christened after his father Deacon John S. Young Sr., co-founder of St. Matthew Missionary Baptist Church, located in Fort Pierce Fl. and mother Missionary Lucille C. Young. Apostle Young received Salvation and started his Christian walk at the age of five. His Godmother the late Leona Pittman, a Minister of Music, introduced and greatly influenced his musical journey. Under her leadership he discovered a love and divine calling for music, likewise, he as well became Praise and Worship Leader and a Minister of Music.
Not only did Apostle Young take this gift and use it for the Lord, but also in his education. This gift that he possesses enabled him to soar above all the rest. During his tenure in high school, Apostle Young participated and stared in musicals and operas with much acclaim. Recognized for his remarkable bass-baritone voice he received superior ratings at solo and ensemble district and state levels along with representing the local chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity in its state and regional competitions. Upon graduation he was awarded the Young Floridian Award for music, a very prestigious honor based upon community service and gifted ability.
Apostle Young, furthered his education by attending New World School of the Arts, located in Miami Florida, where he was awarded a full four year scholarship, he majored in music. While in college Apostle Young met this powerful Woman of God, who herself was a student, ministered to him that God had a call on his life that was more than just music, but to preach and to teach the gospel of Jesus Christ across this world. Receiving this word, he accepted his call in 1995. Under her leadership and care he was taught the word of God through her ministry Royal Family Ministries, where he was later licensed and ordained. The miracle behind this union was far more than they could expect, one that God had planned and predestined, Holy Matrimony. In the winter of 2000 they did wed.
Through this dynamic ministering team, they have reached and touched the lives of many across this world, teaching, preaching and singing the gospel of Jesus Christ in such countries as London, England, Italy and Greece. God has blessed them with a very unique and gifted ministry, one that the world has been waiting for.

Sybil Maria Crews Young: Was born in Dothan Alabama and raised in Sarasota, Fl. She is the Daughter of Overseer Winifred Crews, and the late Reverend R.C. Crews, The Crews’s are founders of Pentecostal Deliverance Ministries is Dothan, and Cottonwood, Alabama. This was a divine appointment for Maria. She was raised in a Christian home where she saw and experience the power of God. Her encounter with music was strongly influenced by her Father Reverend Rufus Crews that played five musical instruments and sang three octave voicing.
Mrs. Young’s first ministry started at home raising six beautiful children. In 1986 Ms Young accepted her calling as an Evangelist to sing and teach the gospel. In addition, as a singer she feels that music is a universal language and can be used to reach all nations.
Although Apostle Young grew up enjoying and loving music in the home she also studied music at The New World School Of The Arts, Florida International University, and Hundington University. At these institutes she learned to sing Opera and Classical music in four languages. This opened doors for her to perform title Opera roles, Le Nozze Di Figaro, The Game of Chance, The Medium, and musicals such as Nunsence, Taking my Turn, and more. Consequently, she embarked in background film work in the Movie "Dream Girls" and several Television series and sitcoms.
The musical Reminiscing With Me, written by Evangelist Young, has been referred to by reviews as educational, comical, and mostly enjoyable. It is a historical journey about African American Music, which include the sounds of favorite Spirituals, and Gospel Music. The rich vocal quality of Bass Baritone John Young and Spintto Soprano Maria Young leaves a lasting impression of this musical. Likewise, this musical illustrates the versatility in the voices, which demonstrates God does not limit his people in expression.
APOSTLES JOHN & MARIA YOUNG (husband and wife ministering team) are founders of Royal Family Ministries where they use their gifts to lift up Jesus and tell it all over the world. They have sung and taught abroad in London, England, Athens, Greece, and Italy.
